The rise is where most pants fail first. The waistband sits low on the hip, the seat drags, and the whole silhouette loses its shape.

We deepened the rise on the Sidelines fit block so the waistband clears the hip bone and sits where it should. Not at the natural waist, but not stranded low on the hips either. The result: a comfortable fit, no pulling or sagging through the seat, and a clean line from hip to hem.

Pockets are one of those details you don't notice until they're wrong. On most scaled-down pants, the pocket opening sits too low on the thigh, which makes your hands sit awkwardly and makes the pant read as oversized.

On Sidelines, pockets are placed relative to your actual thigh length. They fall where your hand naturally rests.

The knee is the hinge of every pant. It's where the fabric breaks, where the leg shape is defined, and where most off-the-rack pants get it wrong on a 5'9" frame.

We positioned the knee where your knee actually is. Not where a 6'1" pattern says it should be. This is why Sidelines pants break cleanly at the right point, rather than bunching halfway down your shin.

A taper that starts too high makes your legs look stocky. A taper that starts too low makes the pant look like it was cut for someone else.
